About Us
About Peace of Mind Services, LLC
We want to make a difference in our communities, and therefore, started this company. We want to work with and help support independently owned funeral homes. These funeral homes truly are deeply embedded into the communities. They keep their costs down to a more affordable price. These funeral homeowners and their staff are involved in their local community events. They are the ones who truly do care about serving families. You’re not just a number to them. You are a real Father, Mother, Brother, Sister, Child, Grandchild, Grandparent, Aunt, Uncle, etc.
We work side by side with these family-owned funeral homes and crematories. Our staff are not high-pressure salespeople. We are caring individuals that are here to help you along the way in having this not-so-easy conversation with you. We are here to walk you through your choices and help you to make the right decisions that you want for yourself. As you have this conversation with us, you’ll find that pre-planning really isn’t all that complicated or hard to do. It’s the right thing to do.
We are so grateful to be able to work with the families in our communities. To work with our Veterans and their families along with families from all backgrounds, religious to nonreligious. Over the years, we’ve seen the fruits of our labors when death has occurred. Your loved ones will come to the funeral home with peace of mind that they truly are honoring your wish on how you wanted to be remembered or how you wanted your life to be celebrated. They aren’t left wondering if they made the right decisions or not. Because you took care of this for them. This truly is the last gift that you’ll leave for them. It’s the gift of love and peace of mind for those who are left behind after you’re gone.
When we meet, we’ll answer your questions, and present your options to you. And we’ll put together a plan that will not only meet your needs but will fit within your budget too. Our objective is to help you to protect your family from the inevitable so that they aren’t forced to make this decision of their own volition. The time we spend in this process today will take out the “I don’t know what they (you) wanted.” It will also minimize any inconvenience and protect your family from possibly emotionally overspending at the time of your death. Our visit together will be well worth it is our commitment to you and your family. Take the time now, to plan ahead for all of the right reasons.
Your family will remember how you cared for them, even when you were gone. This is the gift that keeps on giving from one generation to the next. Take care of this so someone else won’t have to. Pre-planning will also leave you with peace of mind knowing that you did the right thing. It will be a burden lifted from your shoulders knowing that this is taken care of for your family. Please contact us directly and we’ll set up a time that we can meet in person at your home, at the funeral home or we can meet virtually. Let us know which works best for you. We’ll be able to help put together with you the way you want to be celebrated and remembered.
Remember this is all about you and for you. You can contact us by email, phone, or text to visit with us. We look forward to meeting with you in the very near future.
Jeffrey Hunter
Owner / General Agent
My name is Jeffrey D. Hunter. My wife’s name is Miriam, and we have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. My wife and I moved to Colorado in 2017 from Portland, Oregon. We love to spend time with each other and with our family from around the world. We love to BBQ and cook together. And when we have the opportunity, we travel around the world.
I started working in the cemetery & funeral business back in Dec. 1995. As I started my career as a Community Service Counselor, I found that I loved reaching out to families and presenting their options to them. Then I was able to help guide them through the decision-making process. This leads to the families protecting their loved ones from the inevitable.
Throughout my career, I’ve been a Sales Team Leader, Community Service Sales Manager, Family Service Counselor, Family Service Assistant Sales Manager, and Family Service Sales Manager. I’ve worked for a large corporation and have seen a lot of changes over the years. Many of the changes have been a huge shift from traditional burial to the rising cremation rates. But most of all the prices of funerals, burials, and cremation. Mostly due to the rising costs of having these services.
